This year’s edition of the Sirio Di Giuliomaria Award is in perfect harmony with the title of TESOL Italy’s 49th National Convention ‘Connecting Languages, Connecting People TOGETTHERE’,
It is aimed at innovative and inspiring teachers who engage in reflective or transformative practices that advocate for learners and teachers and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in education and in the TESOL profession.
If you have engaged in such transformative practices, we invite you to nominate yourself for the Sirio Di Giuliomaria award, by completing this form. To describe how you match this profile, please write a rationale (max 500 words) and upload a video presentation (max 5 mins) in the registration form.
The Award Committee will select the most suitable applicant, based on the innovative/inspirational features of the proposal submitted.
The winner of the award will be announced at the opening ceremony of TESOL Italy’s 49th National Convention and details about the winner will be published on the TESOL Italy website. The winner will receive a free membership to TESOL Italy for 2025 and a free course in ELT offered by TESOL Italy . The deadline to submit a proposal is November 30th 2024
