ABSTRACT
TESOL-Ukraine has been conducting Teacher Development Institutes since 2018 – every year we discuss and chose a topic of interest for English teachers, have trainings on it and then participants disseminate the results in their local teaching communities. In this webinar Olena Lienko will inform about the history of Teacher Development Institutes in TESOL-Ukraine, Liliia Kuznetsova will introduce the topic of 2022 “How to Teach Post Millenials” and Maryna Tsehelska will share the results of the first institute that was to be completed on Ferbuary, 24, the first day of the war, but its participants got a chance to present their projects only two months after.

Olena Ilienko

Olena Ilienko, PhD in Philology, Doctor of Science in Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Has 30 years of experience teaching EFL, ESP, Academic English to undergraduate and PhD students. Her interests include Methodology of EFL and ESP teaching, Pedagogy, Translation Studies, Intercultural Communication. She is a co-author of two books and developer of tutorials and other teaching materials. TESOL-Ukraine member since the time of its foundation in 1995, in 2019 was elected as a President of this association.

Lilia Kuznetsova

Lilia Kuznetsova, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Foreign Language Department for Humanities, Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko. More than 35 years of experience teaching EFL, ESP (English for Lawyers), Academic English for Masters in Law, Translation Studies. Lilia Kuznetsova is a co-author of 3 textbooks and other teaching materials. She is the author of more than 120 publications. TESOL-Ukraine member since the foundation of the organisation in 1995. Takes the position of treasurer for 10 years. Manager of different educational projects between Netherlands and Ukraine, Estonia and Ukraine.

Maryna Tsehelska

Maryna Tsehelska has a PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the English Language and Methodology Department, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University. she is an author of numerous articles and textbooks. Maryna Tsehelska is also greatly interested in methods of teaching a new generation of students, which she introduces and tests in the Educational Centre “Interclass”, where she is an owner and Director of Studies.
